Full Day Summer Camp Director/ Ass’t Director- East Roswell Recreation Center
The City of Roswell Recreation and Parks Department is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Summer Camp Director and/or Ass’t Director for East Roswell Recreation Center. This position is only for summer. Responsible for the direct supervision, scheduling, and management of counselors. Other requirements in creative planning and implementation of daily/ weekly activities. Assist and work closely with program supervisor in planning major events and activities and other duties as assigned by program supervisor. The director and/or ass’t director sets the tone and attitude of camp staff as well as campers. Enthusiasm, energy, and ability to communicate with camp staff, program supervisor, and parents on a daily basis are needed for this position.
Associates or higher in related field, or at least 2 years experience in leadership of staff in a summer camp or educational/school environment is required. Ability to plan, organize, oversee all functions of summer camp including pre-planning and attending pre camp meetings.
Hourly rate of $10-$14 depending on experience.
