Summer Camp Counselor for Specialty Camp- Ft. Building Camp Location: East Roswell Recreation Center
The City of Roswell Recreation and Parks Department is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Summer Specialty Camp Counselors East Roswell Recreation Center. This position is only for summer. We are looking for counselors for our Ft. Building Camp. Counselors would be responsible for planning, supervision, and construction of forts outdoors. Counselors would also be responsible for the direct safety and supervision of children ages 8-12. Please note, nails, wood, hammers are used and some heavy lifting required. This would also require one overnight stay per week. Majority of camp is held outdoors. Both positions will work underneath a director as well as program supervisor. Ability to take directions, problem solving, being creative are necessary.
Ages 17 or older. Prior experience with children is desired. Must be responsible, dependable, and able to attend meeting prior to camp (prior to May 27th ).
Hourly rate of $7.25 - $9.00 depending on experience. 20-30 hours per week
